| Im making the exhaust now but because i have no bender i have several 45 and 30 degree stainless 2.5" pipes that im going to route to the cats. After the mockup the work looks way easier than the manifold was. A little cutting, some easy welds and a funky little Y pipe (2.5" inlet and 2" outlet) to the cats and ill be good. Im running stock cats because theyll have better flow than a single OBDII compliant 2.5" cat because of their little dual setup. I want a legit rear exhaust so im saving my monies for a remus muffler.
Oh and to answer the PM's about the manifolds. Both 300e M103 and e320 M104 turbo manifold would be 500-550 in mild schedule 40 steel. Youll have to paint it yourself but with shear thickness of sch40 steel(almost 1/4") the manifold will last longer than you unpainted before it fails. |
