| 300sd transmission issue
Hi,
First time on the site....amazing responses. Thanks to all.
My 83 300SD's tranny is having issues. Shifting is hard between 1-2 but the real issue is now 1st is sometimes no where to be found. Not a total slip but it's like it is not quite connecting, then it finds itself. It is erratic. Reverse, other gears fine. 1st has always had a bit of whine but other MB's I've had have done the same. Wondering about vacumm or the 'bands' need adjustment. Any comments, recomendations, please let me know.
