For fault "8" I would check the vacuum line that runs from the ignition control unit to the intake manifold for leaks. If that is okay, then the ignition control unit may be faulty. If your car is running fine, then I would not be concerned if you are unable to correct this fault.
Fault "17" will be generated if the engine is not running at the moment the code is read. |
