| It's kinda hard to avoid scammers these days the way people find ways to counter every resolution. The only way to really avoid being scammed is to go in person with a mechanic, and even then you can still be gotten. Just know if a deal sounds too good to be true, IT IS, not probably is, but is. Also, generally most unprofessional scammers are pushy trying to get you to buy or try to make you feel like they have other buyers waiting so it'd be your lost, etc.
Patience is your best friend when dealing with any sale. Think to yourself that anytime someone is rushing to get rid of something, it's typically for a reason, and unless they have proof that someone died in it that was loved and family, and have tears in their eyes claiming they want to get rid of it because of the bad memories it keeps bringing back, then chances are you don't want the vehicle so pass it on.
