    Hi,

Re: 86 300sdl instrument clock capacitors

Is the 100uF/35 the correct capacitor for this car?

The clock has been dead for >10 years. Had taken it to the dealer and they wanted big bucks for the repair so I passed at the time.

I'm pulling the instrument cluster to replace the bulbs this weekend and thought to repair the clock at the same time. It's my daily driver so I'd like to purchase the capacitors prior to pulling things apart.

    Thank you in advance!

Hey JD, I am designing a digital data logger for my 1984 300SD. I know you do cruise control repair but do you know and/or have the pinouts for everything (not just cruise control) that connects to the back of the gauge cluster? Or if you know where i could find that stuff, let me know. Thanks!

I have an 87 300SDL that got fried by a bad alternator (Damn you AutoZone!). My speedo and cruise along with about half a dozen other electric/electronic items got fried. I know that the cruise gets its signal from the speedo, so should I wait until I get the speedo fixed before I get a new cruise amp from you?

    Hi JD,
The cruise on my '91 2.3 works, but when it comes to an incline, it accelerates and keep accelerating, up to about 15 MPH over the original setting before it backs off. It really isn't useable. Any ideas on what might be causing this? Thanks In Advance, SK.

I just saw your post on the 126 forum. Do you still have one that will fit a 1984 300SD? If so, how much? And do you offer any kind of exchange for the cores? I've been debating on doing this... My cruise works fine 95% of the time, and seems to be getting better the more I use it, so I'm not sure if there is even anything wrong with the amp. I do use the car on road trips, though, and want everything to be perfect. Thanks for any input!
