It depends, if you need a reliable, all purpose but fun car I would replace the 300E with a newer multi-tasker. For example, in San Francisco I have a toy, 911 Turbo, for fun and a practical city driver, a MINI S convertible. And, just in case I need to drive friends around I use the Jaguar. I don't really need a long distance car as I live in the city and rarely leave (unless to the airport). In Connecticut I have a toy, a vintage Mercedes 600, for local driving but use the more practical everyday, long distance driver, an S550. In this case, I tend to drive more miles to get to places and hence need the S550. (Can you tell I am single and not burdened with children...or spouse?)
