So I received my car from being shipped to NC from NY. Upon inspection of it I saw that the bands they used to secure my car through the rims rubbed the finish and some paint off of my rim. I contacted the shippers and they said in the contract it stated that rims are not covered. (which is true after reading over the contract once more) I'm going to state that the car was inproperly secured because upon delivery the straps were around the tires not the rims. Do you think i'll have a fighting chance? I want my rims replaced and I feel that they are liable for the damage because it was not there when the car was picked up, which is backed by the original inspection document.
I'm very mad about this.
