| Mine are within the edge of the bumper and are both in the same position. I don't know what picture you are refering to to it sticking out on. One of my early photos they were just placed in position to see what they looked like (before I comitted myself to fit them)so that may appear to jut out a bit, but they are not forward now they are properly fixed.
They are made from a good quality Chromed Plastic and have quite a heavy feel. They are made the same as your round foglight surrounds which are also plastic. So there is no chance of rusting.
I am just not happy with the way they fit on (as supplied). I would recommend that either the dealer fits them but this will cost mega bucks in parts or labour or if you get them yourself and fit yourself you fit as I have stated above. You do get a small screw showing (just) but at least they won't fall off. |
