Wow... amazing pictures. The W126 took a licking and did its job! Glad no one was severely hurt. W126's are truly strong cars and this picture just proves once again I'd rather be in a W126 than an econo-box aluminum can.
Last week I was driving my 190E here in Poland when I saw a motorcyclist run a red light and t-boned into a new Audi TT. The motorcyclist literally fell under the car. I was the first one at the scene and had to yell at the female driver of the TT to turn off the car as she wanted to REVERSE with the man under her car.
Just as you said, the training just comes back to you quickly... I was able to safely pull him out and amazingly the motorcyclist got up on his two feet although clearly in shock. I stayed at the scene until the paramedics came.
