The car spent the day drying.

There were errors in some areas which are being wet sanded, blown dried and resprayed.

The underside will be restored next.

Paul at Helms Brothers reports that new glass is inbound: the rear pane is coming from Chicago and may not arrive before the weekend. He also says that a grab bag, round 2, is being assembled. This will be rubber gaskets, window and door seals, strips and clips. The cladding clips are similar to a barb on a fish hook. Once it seats at the factory, it has to be broken off for repair and then replaced.

So, once the grab bag part 2 arrives, the car will be dry enough for a polishing buff and will immediately afterwards be quickly reassembled.
