| From my observations, the 421 axles are from the same family as the 406/416 axles, just narrower. They look almost identical form the outside, so I would guess that the R&P and Portal gears are the same, just different lenght axles. It might be worth confirming the gear ratio, since most of the 421's had a top speed of somewhere around 35-40mph, so the ratio might be too low for the application.
