| Are you sure that the rough side was not just a removeable piece of paper protecting the GLUE to hold the "gasket" to the pad???? On any brake jobs that I have done where you have to install the gasket or as I call them "shims" on the pads yourself, they stick to the backside of the pad. Good Luck!!!!! |
