Last fill: the onboard computer revealed a 7.2 L/100 km result, and the reality was less flattering: 7.83. The previous time it was a spread of about 0.5 L (with the OBC being too low).

I do wonder if this thing can be adjusted, because such ridiculous optimism is annoying.

I got 6.0 on the way home from work last night, including a few errands in town, which in reality is 6.5, still good!
