I read your post about the idiot in the bottle. I hope you are back in the seat very soon and am pleased to hear that you and your madre were no worse for the wear except for a few bruises and seat belt burns. We had less than 100 miles on the car when we added the system so it will probably never feel like a true after-market add on. When you get your knew SLK, blow off the command unit and go for the gusto... it saves quite a bit of coin. |
Thanks for the advice and the well wishes! Anchorage Mercedes can get me a car in as little as two weeks. Just waiting on the insurance formalities. I am so going to get this system!! I may fly down to the place that you mentioned in your post and see what I can come up with. If they find a car for me in that area, I'll just have the Kenwood system installed before the car is shipped up.
