I wonder if anyone can help. With the roof up there is a grating noise, I guess rubber on the frame to material on the hood. Anybody know of a useful lubricant.

http://www.benzworld.org/forums/r170...=rubber+grease which has several solutions aside from Bruce's. We all get the creaks, some of them in the roof.
I use rubber grease on the roof rubbers every 3 months or so and it becomes peaceful again. Clean as Bruce suggested and try that before applying.
