I doubt you actually have to pay for the subscription just because it's in the car. I got a free six months (I think)...but I was a subscriber prior to my buying my C300. You can just let the free subscription lapse couldn't you?

I like to drive cross-country, and for that Satellite Radio is a blessing. And on the music channels there are no commercials, which is what I used to hate about broadcast radio, and why I eventually stopped listening. Yeah, I listen to my iPod too...but having Satellite has led me to a lot of new music I would never have heard before, and would not now be on the iPod if I hadn't.

My only gripe with Sirius is that they've killed one of the stations really I liked listening too when I first subscribed. There was a really nice Swing channel that they killed, and I'm still ticked off. Now it's somehow become the All Frank Sinatra All The Time channel. But there is still enough programming on it I like to keep me subscribing. It's nice to be able to hear new music and not have to sift for it from between massive amounts of commercials...

Be nice if you could get Internet Radio though the car sound system...
