#1 - New head unit, hardwire, keep existing front and rear speakers. Problem is the door speakers and the fader switch.
#2 - New head unit, new speakers. Problem is, the speaker installs are not real easy, especially the fronts. And you have to fit the fronts under the grills.
#3 - New head unit, new speakers, run new speaker wires. Will have good sound and easy to wire. However, you will have to run speaker wires down the side to the rear. Not really that bad.
#4 - New head unit, new speakers, wiring, amp and subwoofer. Cost is a factor here, and you have to run wires down both sides. Sounds great though. Get a map pocket for the dash and a head unit with an Ipod input and put your Ipod in the map pocket. |
