I been on the tracks and worked the pits before that No no not big time cars like that however still the same excitement and crazy assed events...(lola 2000) and Formula Vs (4 cylinders rear engine cars like the F1s) and about 1/3 smaller overall however just as crazy.
And the Rules are the same for all .... stay the F away and out of the track area of the pit unless you are facing the incoming direction along with suppose to be there.
you don't walk thru the area where there is any movement of cars that are under their own power with the heat on except the off track pit garage areas and never go into another teams stop area ever because you do not have a radio on the same band so you will not have a clue if and when there is incoming.
So basicly put he screwed up big dumb assed time........oh well he lucky he only got a little bump........I was lucky not to see it but at a race in Lime Rock Conn a guy got this arm ripped wide open 2 stops down from us when he did the same thing....
