| I've counted over 20 different 722.6 transmissions. I show a C240 as using a 722.698. I'm not sure how you accidently drained 2.5 quarts, or how you confirmed that exactly 2.5 quarts were drained. However, per the WIS, the transmission fluid level is supposed to be checked at both 25 degrees Celsius, and again at 80 degrees Celsius. At 25 degrees Celsius, the fluid level should be between the Min and Max settings that are at the end of the dipstick. With the fluid at 80 degrees Celsius, the fluid level should be between the Min and Max settings that are further up the dipstick. If the fluid was added, checked, and the temperature was ignored, it could result in problems.
