| If you follow the directions in the manual it will get you started..hopefully right around 0 degrees. Then you set it w/ a timing light while the engine is running.
Distributor can't go backwards..only if the engine runs backwards and if that happens you have MUCH bigger problems.
Worst case, it won't run or will run poorly.
