| i did it once for the Mercury Mistique, and there i was able to take the front grill off since it was bolted vertically. But i know MB grill is bolted from the back/ engine compartment, so no clue on that one. I will take a look at the latch assembly and how its mounted to the frame, and see if its possible to un-bolt the assembly through the grille. Will let you know.
