Hey folks, Let me start by saying "Another one bites the dusk".
My 02 ml320 fail to start yesterday. I've Never heard of, or have experience this problem before. After joining this site I read just about everything i could find on this start error/key Problem. I Went back up to the car where it failed (I was hopeing to get it started so I could get it home) removed the battery and tried to start it again. Just like the forum said, 3 tries and it was over. I tried both keys to no avail.Only other option was to call the tow truck. They picked it up today headed to the shop. Called the Benz dealer, they said very proudly.."Sure, bring it in, we can surley fix it!"(I could hear the cash register in the back ground, chig,chig) I called my Certified Benz import shop that has been doing all the work for the last 3 years. He said" Naw, never have heard of that before, but you know we will take care of you, bring it in" Man, I tell you.. It's not looking good either way. let me say, I've only had one problem with the small SUV since I've had it(back seat got suck in the down position) Cost me about $300 to get it up and new cable. So I guess I am due. I will let you folks know my out come.....Oh, I took it to my Import guys.
