Okay...

When you said "electric fan" I thought you meant the auxiliary electric cooling fan in the engine compartment ahead of the radiator. I took a second look at the pics and you don't have one of those...

So, you are talking about the blower motor for the heating/defroster.

You have a twin "squirrel cage" blower arrangement on the "/8" which is housed inside of the upper console. You can test the switch by pulling out the the radio, reaching inside the assembly., unplugging the connector and trying a new unit.

Or, remove the upper console, after removing the radio, and all shall be revealed. There are two plastic retaining nuts [black plastic caps with two holes for a tool to engage] and two black sheet metal screws near the firewall. If I recall correctly...

The lower dash panels will have to be removed as well from both sides.

You will need to unplug any switches, etc. from the console and it pulls up and away revealing the blower housing, etc.
