| We just got a C350 sedan (with leather) and heard the same story about delays in getting a leather-equipped one. I was amazed that Mercedes was selling any cars with vinyl in them these days. Even inexpensive cars have leather and it seems a travesty to buy a Mercedes with plastic seats. The leather today lasts and lasts unless you really abuse it, and you can't beat the aroma, feel and innate class of leather. P.S.: Another "new" development in Alcantara, formerly known as Ultrasuede. More plastic! Why? |
