yes you have to drill one hole in the glove box
otherwise it is remove upper vents above radio disconnect 4 way flasher,
pull out the bottom panel where heating controls remove 4 screws that holds the radio pull out radio without disconecting it, plug in the wire. Pull the wire behind to glove box.
Remove six screws around glove box remove glove box drill hole plug it in the end reinstall back check if it is working. reinstall back slide back the radio careful around the wires when sliding it back. Screw back 4 screws to hold the radio. install bottom panel.
plug in wire for 4 way flasher slide in upper vent.
I do recommend to buy tools form mercedes very easy to do with merc original tools

Done by myself careful first time no problem.
