I must not be explaining the condition very well. If you have a 20+ year old car with 100,000+ miles, you should know exactly what I am describing. These are not big visible pits, but micro-pits that occur over time and are only noticable when you look very closely. From a slight distance, it is barely a slight haze, not quite sparkling new. No type of patch would work.
Thanks again everyone. If wet sanding doesn't work, I will try the Eastwood system. I will also keep looking for a pro but I believe I have exhausted that option.

I've heard of some trying to polish the windshield and leaving distortions across the glass so I would be very careful. Good luck! |
