| Well chriswufgator honestly I still am amazed about the 5,000 miles you got out of your Pirellis. With all the cars and tyres I've had since I started driving I've averaged about 12,000 miles with Pirellis (P5000 Vizzola, P6000 and Pzero Rossos) Goodyear (NCT5, F1) Michelines (CX-HL and another I don't remember). Pirellis doesn't come cheap here but always cheaper than Michelins and by a whole lot.
As you very well know I always bring my personal experience and my humble opinions and if you happened to read other threads about tyres where I spoke you know I hugely loathe Michelins for the soapy feeling they give me behind the wheel and because on wet condition they are completely useless at least on the type of tarmac used here.
That said I think tyred choice is strictly related to the personal driving style and personal needs it's always difficult to give some advises.
Again if you are asking me Rossos are the way to go if you want to get the most out of the R129 chassis. Am I wrong ? Am I right ? I don't know but those get my absolute vote thing that Michelins will never get.
Cheers.
