| DRLs are required on all new vehicles manufactured for sale in Canada since Dec 1 1989, but only for a set of front lights. You don't have to have all the lights on. I'm not sure but I think cars that have the "auto on" (light sensor) or maybe factory HIDs don't turn on the rear parking lights unless the light is low enough. I think if you have a more basic model like me, all the lights are on all the time. Can anyone confirm this?
