However paper manuals for every M/B model in every M/B garage would be an environmental nightmare.
Yes I agree you cannot beat a paper book for working on the car but I feel it unlikely that the number of B owners wanting such a manual would warrant putting it into print and I doubt that many would be willing to pay the figure you have mentioned Mike, a pity though.
Regarding WIS, due to it's complexity, I can't imagine many hairy a**ed fitters retrieving information from it, but judging by the hourly rates charged probably M/B only employ university graduates or ex rocket scientists as mechanics

In the UK we have a publishing company called HAYNES who have been producing excellent workshop manuals (by stripping cars down to the bare shell photographing everything and then rebuilding them & again photographing every step). They have been in business to my knowledge since the early 1960s it is a company like this that is probably the best bet for a manual for the B. I have emailed them enquiring about the possibility of a manual but don't hold your breath on a result on this.
