| The comfort mode is supposed to go into the higher gears sooner therefore in theory should give higher MPG. I did see somewhere that the sport mode is supposed to have a form of driving style learning optomising changes to your particular driving style.
It will take a few thousand miles to get up to your best MPG with your diesel mine was quite 'tight' to start with the temperature guage showing hotter than normal temperatures as mine has just about run in now the guage shows a lower temperature and the MPG figures are a bit better. Mine has 4,000+ on the clock now.
Whilst you are running in try not to let the engine labour too much this can be worse for it than high revving. |
