Absolutely!

I couldn't agree more with the comments about the warranty. I just bought a 2003 CL600 at the dealer, and added the CPO warranty for 3 years/100K miles at a cost of $5K. The car was only $36K before the warranty so even with the warranty the price was right around retail book. In the first 2 months I owned it, the ABC/power steering pump and one of the ABC hoses needed replacing, the dealer fixed it under warranty and charged Mercedes a "discounted" repair price of $3,600. Retail on that repair is like $5K.

A month later, the fuel pump developed low pressure and caused a misfire, they replaced that which would have cost me around $600-$800 if it was not under warranty. Both times my repair cost was $0. The CPO warranty will pay for itself. The ABC system is somewhat troublesome and costs $$$ to fix. CPO warranty doesn't cover everything, but does cover the most costly repairs. I have no regrets and would buy the car again, just make sure the warranty is there! IMHO the factory CPO warranty is better than an aftermarket 3rd party warranty, as you know the dealer will honor it, and every Benz dealer in the country will recognize that warranty.
