For ML350, warranty 4 year/50,000 miles and NOT-Transferrable.
The used car dealer can fix your tranny (make it run again) and it depends on the agreement between you and that dealer. Let's say AS IS (no luck) or 6-month/ 12,000 miles.....whatever.
I doubt that you can make them do more, except fixing (solenoid replacing may be, tranny change would be their last resort)
