| Looks to me that the transmission problem is minor, like possibly just a bad solinoid that shifts into the different modes. That I believe is external to the transmission. As far as warranty is concerned I am not aware of the warranty on a new MB in your part of the world as they differ from market to market. If its still within the calender and mileage limits of the original warranty you should be covered. |
