Kyle,
Not to get smart with you, If I managed to get a hose in the arm and rinsed out or(flushed) the assembly, It would be still full of water.. My purpose for listing my problem was 2 fold
(1) To make Mercedes owners aware of a dangerous problem that occurs in the real world..( So they can have their cars checked for an "new" or unheard of problem)
(2) To save lives, or injurys (Because owners won't hear about it anywhere else but here)
Had this happened to me 5 minutes earlier I would have been travelling along at 50 mph in traffic, instead of backing out of a parking stall at 1 mph

I've picked up a lot of servicing tips here, and actually I would not have purchased My 1995 C220 if I would have researched here first..

My C220 also suffers from a faulty, defective engine harness.. The insulation is crumbling off the conductors... and my gauges don't work when the car is cold, ie. Speedometer, tach, fuel, Temp gauge.. AND the dealer knew the car
had these problems..Like the harness....
