Hey, Benzboy.

I don't know what roadsidedude's issue was, but I have those EXACT wheels on my W210 with the rad bolts, R14x12Mx26mm. The fit is perfect, no issues whatsoever. Previously I had a set of the 16" 2004 W211 wheels on the same car, also with no fitment issues. As far as the "extra space" you mention that isn't an issue since the wheel centers on the hub and the lug bolts center in the lug hole in the wheel. I suppose it might be an issue if your lug bolts came loose (extra play allowing them to beat the wheel up more) but if your lug bolts are coming loose you have bigger problems in the first place.

I have to say that I've never heard of a fitment problem (other than the lug bolt issue) with any W211 wheel on a W210 until reading roadsidedude's post.

So BB, I say if those are the wheels you like, proceed accordingly and you will love the look. However, you will need to drop back one tire size; the 245/45-17 tires on the 211 17" wheels are too big for the W210 and will rub in the front as you pass about 60-70% of the turning limits. 235/45-17 is the same OD as your stock W210 tire and is the ideal fit.

Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg
