When you say "the level shows OK" - is that as shown on the cluster display, or using a dipstick?
I cannot explain how you drained 8.8 US quarts. My OM says your CLK 500 oil replacement quantity is 7.5 liters, or 8 US quarts.
So 7 quarts would seem a bit short. |
