| 404 280E engine swap, and power steering.
Hello all, i've got a couple of questions about my 404 MOG project. I'm fitting a 280E M110 engine and was wondering if anyone had fitted this engine before. My main problem is working out the engine mounts. I know these have to go to the front engine to eliminate problems with chassis flex. I have searched the web for pictures and threads on this subject, but haven't found anything. I'm really after a picture or 2 of the mounts if anyone has done it, just to make sure what i'm planning is going to work.
Secondly i've been thinking of fitting power steering, i've come across 406 power steering boxes for sale in the past, but not a 404 box. Will a 406 power steering box fit my 404 without alteration, or will i have to adapt it?
