I'm not sure what to make of Google...they made more money, more quietly, than anyone in history. I suppose to a certain extent they "sold out", but I'm not naive or sappy enough to believe that good technology should always be free from profitability.
I was referring more to the developers at Yahoo, which after all, if it's not for them, there is no Yahoo. They wouldn't be alone or wrong in deciding to jettison from the company if the alternative was to become Microsoft badge holders. Google - evil or not -
is hiring.
