| It's true the optics in a halogen projector aren't the same as a HID projector, however some people have gotten good results using a kit in a halogen projector. The thing is, it varies car to car and kit to kit, not all projectors are the same and not all bulbs in each kit are the same. By good results I mean, a sharp cutoff and no glare. I'll try and post the website where they list the cars that were successful and the ones that were aweful, the B wasn't included in the list. What we need is someone who's had a successful hid conversion in the B, post what kit was used. (Even then, bulb quality still varies during time of manufacture) OR someone who has done an OEM HID retrofit and knows the part numbers and cost from MB.
