| according to the contract i have, it reads on the 2nd page, 1st paragraph titled COVERAGE UNDER THE PLAN: WHAT IS COVERED? it goes on to explain that they will pay for labor and parts. the last sentence states" The only exception are those listed "Under whats not covered by the plan"
the next paragraphs list whats included "but not limited to"
the 5th page lists what is not covered such as oil changes, brake pads and rotors and other situations which would deny a claim such as using your vehicle to tow when its not designed to or using it for commercial purposes.
it seems to be pretty inclusive and at a reasonable price. it has been praised by other sl owners and i have not heard anything negative so far. none of these extended warranties are perfect but you really have to do your homework. i purchase and MB extended warranty for my 00' clk and they made me pay for a repair on a wiring harness for the convertible top until i read and re-read the contract and had to highlight specifically where it stated wiring harnesses are covered and finally got my money back after 3 weeks. this was the one time I used it too!
