McBear is right.

#1: it is not a good habit to keep anything more than is absolutely necessary on your key ring. I have only two keys - my W123 key and my W124 key on my car key ring. No key fob or anything else. I keep my other keys on a second key ring.

#2 if you start having any issues whatsoever with your tumbler, replace it.

Don't wait on this!

If that thing jams on you in position #2 you are going to be and singing the blues.

It is a most frustrating task to fix should it jam up in the wrong position.
