| No way, can it be plug wires. In order to get a no start you would need misfires on soemthing like 2/3's of the cylinders and the likely hood of them all going out at the same time is very unlikely. Also bad plug wires when they begin to fail are going to usually throw check engine lights for misfires. Also failures like plugs and wires can usually be felt way before they kill a car. Ask yourself over last couple months or so have you notice a rough idle or the vehicle shaking slightly at idle. Poor throttle response, and lack of performance. If you noticed something like this before the car started dying then well you may have bad wires or plugs. But like I said the likely hood of them causing this problem especially at 73k miles is really stretching for it. The dealership will also check your wires on an oscilloscope scope if you want to be sure they are good, but it's just gonna cost more money.
