That is stupid thoughts.
My theory is the car probably braking hard prior to crashing, causing the car ducked under the van and didn't trigger the airbag sensors (judging from the bumper is still intact and seemed in good condition - ie. never actually made contact with the van)
And judging from the chinese car crash test, the guy would've been dead by now had he driven a chinese car in the crash. Of course then he won't live to vow to only drive mercedes for the rest of his life
Ok I may be exaggerating a little, but as of today i don't see any chinese car has earned the safety rating even close to Mercedes, not to mention the sonderklasse mercedes.
