Joey, you are hopelessly lost. Carfax is a business. They built a data base of information, expending considerable time and money, on the premise that they could sell that information. If that information is given away on the internet or anywhere else their business model is invalid. They go out of business in spite of having invested in and established a viable useful service. Protecting Carfax in this respect is an essential element of the rule of law. The rule of law is essential to any civilized society. It is not a question of how small the infraction but the legal principal. If this site condones and participates in unlawful acts it will most certainly be shut down, as all the music piracy sites have been shut down. This is something that any business person should know.
