| I had a similar problem with my 92 300E M103 project car. It would run as long as starter fluid was being shot in. Pumps seemed to work as there was pressure at the "in" and "out" lines on the fuel distributor. However, the pumps weren't operating correctly or one was dead. I replaced both and the beast came alive.
The only injector that would have any voltage to it would be the cold start injector. Not your problem in this case.
