| I have the MB cargo mat and don't have any complaints with it. I'm not real familiar with the WeatherTech mat, so I'll just tell you about the MB mat. The surface is covered with a pattern of large squares that stick up about 1" and provide pretty decent grip. The mat is plastic but it's got kind of a rubber like feel to it. It's also got about a 1.5" lip all the way around so if you were to have anything spill, it wouldn't get on your beautiful carpet.
