My question is: are the fluid change of gearbox, transfercase and differentials listed in the scheduled maintenance for the ML. It appears to me that they aren't. Why is this so? I just bought a 1999 ML320 with 99,000 miles on the odometer and full main dealer service history for my wife, and I am worried that these things were never done to the truck.

The ML had its gearbox replaced by a brand-new unit 12,000 miles ago for the princely sum of € 5,000 ($ 8,000) so it is clear to me that preventative maintenance always pays...

Is there anything else, apart from the above, that I whould be concerned with in terms of maintenance?

Thanks in advance....
Sorry, I haven't found that information either. I personally dont see any harm in changing them all now.
