| Did you ever find out anything about your transmission? Mine is doing something similar:
1. when I leave the house in the morning the car goes into reverse and works fine that way
2. after driving for a little while (15 - 30 minutes) it won't completely engage reverse
I had to, just a few minutes ago, open my driver side door and give the car a push with my left foot while gassing it with my right foot to get the car to go in reverse. It feels like it wants to engage reverse and the higher I rev the engine the more it sounds like it is trying. Not sure if that is vacuum or the loss of the reverse band.
I'm already looking for rebuilt transmission dealers. |
