| hey thanks a lot man. well i actually took the stock air fitting, cut the threaded nipple off, enlarged the hole to the 3/8 npt drill size (37/64"), then tapped it. there is enough wall thickness (about 1/8") for a reliable seal after tapping. i changed all my tank fittings to this and took out the tire inflator as well and replaced it with a standard quick disconnect air coupler. sure beats spending 18 bucks for each 22mm-3/8npt conversion adapter and it works great! |
