| 98 310d brake problem
I have recently aquired a 98 mwb 210d with 100k on the clock. I have had it for 2 weeks and the brakes have been very poor. They feel very spongy compared to what i was used to and the pedal goes most of the way to the floor. There is also an alarming lack of brake power. The previous owner did not use the van much and it was esentialy standing for 2 years.
At first i thought the brakes needed bleeding and i had a brake fluid replacement done. This has not solved the problem and if anything they feel a little worse now. The pads and disks are fine apparently.
Any ideas people?
